This is a very tiny book. It was obvious that it was "homemade" and there was no editor! I have spent a couple days highlighting & making 'teacher notes' because of the numerous typos, grammar errors & misspelled words! It is extremely frustrating trying to learn from a 'writer' who can't properly communicate in their language. I plan to mail my copy back to the author, so that he can fix these mistakes & reprint it! It's a great idea, he did the legwork & research that until now, just didn't exist. I look forward to actually reading this someday. Super annoying currently.Product details

Good condition
It's lacking so much. Be prepared to buy more books to understand what they reference and discuss ever so breifly.
Book is good. Very straight forward. However, I would recommend hiring a good proof reader next time. The grammar mistakes made it a little hard to read....still finished it in a couple of hours.
Great start for those wanting to go off grid, homesteading or providing their own source of renewable energy. Know all the critical questions that need answered while searching for your property. The book deals with all the consideration for water, sewage, housing and sources of energy. Bill is an experienced off gridder and shares his unique perspectives on the start up.
Highly recommend for anyone that is looking to make the move to “Off Grid”… Read this BEFORE you invest in property. It may change where you want to live. The author has already researched problem states and counties that can give you a headache. Find out if your state is “Renewable Energy Compliant”… Best wishes!

This book helps you to make the right decisions by letting you know what to look for and what to avoid when making the decision to move offgrid. I bought the paper copy and also got the kindle version to put on my tablet and I have learned a lot from this book. I am going offgrid and I highly recommend this book.
